Irene (Gibson) Wright

        Irene Wright, 88, of Laurence Harbor, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Regency Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hazlet, New Jersey. She was born Irene Gibson on July 3, 1927 in Dundee, Scotland, where she also grew up and met her husband, James O. Wright.  On December 27, 1954, Irene and James settled in Teaneck, New Jersey to raise their family. In December of 1978, they moved to Laurence Harbor, New Jersey.  

        She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James O. Wright, and her parents, Robert and Janet (Morrison) Gibson. Irene is survived by her loving daughters, Ann Wright of Laurence Harbor, New Jersey, Janet Wright of Laurence Harbor, New Jersey, and Jean Wright and her partner, Maria, of Asbury Park, New Jersey. Irene will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

        Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
