Georgiann Marie (Mershon) Morgan

     Georgiann Marie Morgan, 73, of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.  She was born Georgiann Marie Mershon on April 21, 1944 in South Amboy, New Jersey, and grew up in Morgan, New Jersey.  Later in life, she raised her family in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Holmdel, New Jersey, before moving to Keyport, New Jersey approximately 20 years ago.

    She was predeceased by her parents, George and Ann (Merowsky) Mershon, and her brother, James Mershon.  Georgiann is survived by her loving children, Raymond Morgan and his wife, Barbara Brunelli, of Holmdel, New Jersey, and Justine Durdack and her companion, Shawn Tumulty, of Little Silver, New Jersey, her prior husband, Raymond Morgan Sr., her dear siblings, Elsie Pietrangelo and her husband, Nicholas, Judy Gibbons, Chuck Mershon and his wife, Joann, and Susan Chadwick, along with her cherished grandchildren, Amanda Tumulty, Benjamin Durdack, Samuel Durdack, Raymond Morgan, and Emily Morgan.  She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

    Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  In respect of Georgiann's wishes, she will be privately cremated.  Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Grace United Methodist Church, 115 St. James Avenue, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
