Ed was an old U.S. Army friend - we served together in the Army Security Agency in Germany as German linguists - we were stationed at a small satellite station known as die Wasserkuppe - we interacted almost every day for a few years there -
Ed had a great sense of humor & was always ready to help if you needed assistance -
thanks to the internet, we reconnected about 5 years ago & have communicated off & on since then - I will truly miss the communications & conversations that I had with Ed so, rest well mein Freund, und wir uns vielleicht spaeter noch einmal wiedersehen -
