Dominick A. Ciavarro

       Dominick A. Ciavarro, 73, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home on Thursday evening, May 19, 2016.  Dominick was born on April 8, 1943 in Newark, New Jersey, where he grew up.  On December 4, 1965, he and his wife, Mary Ann, were married and began their life together in Belleville, New Jersey.  Shortly after, they settled in Hazlet, New Jersey, where they raised their family and resided for the past 46 years.  Throughout his life, Dominick worked as a Project Manager for Revlon Company; he was currently retired.  He was also a proud United States Army Veteran, and was a sports fan, especially for the New York Giants.  He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Rose (Guirriere) Ciavarro, and his brother, Frederick Ciavarro.  Dominick is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 50 years, Mary Ann (DiMaggio) Ciavarro, his loving sons, Anthony J. Ciavarro and his wife, Jill, of Hazlet, New Jersey, and Dominick S. Ciavarro and his wife, Tracey, of Fort Meyers, Florida, along with his dear brothers, Richard Ciavarro and his wife, Beverly, of Parlin, New Jersey, and Joseph Ciavarro and his wife, Joanna, of Newark, New Jersey.  Dominick is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Krystle, Alec, and Joseph Ciavarro, his adoring sisters-in-law, Frances Ciavarro, and Annette Keesser, and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.  He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

        Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM, and Tuesday morning, May 24, 2016 from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday morning, May 24, 2016 at 10:00 AM, at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733. Entombment will follow at Green Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, Green Grove Avenue, Keyport, New Jersey 07735.
