Deborah Kennedy

          Deborah L. Kennedy, 58, of Middletown, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016.  She was born Deborah L. Boyce on March 12, 1958 in Jersey City, New Jersey.  When she was 14 years old, Debbi moved with her family to Keansburg, New Jersey, where she remained until marriage.  On August 13, 1983, she and her husband, Stephen, were married and began their life together in Middletown, New Jersey.  Throughout her life, Debbi worked as a registered nurse.  Most recently she worked for Arnold Walter Nursing Home in their medical billing department.  Debbi was an animal lover, especially her parrots and cats, whom she adored.

        She was predeceased by her step-father, Joseph R. Dalton, her baby brother, and her grandmother, Anna Yeomans.  Deborah is survived by her adoring mother, Dolores "Tootsie" Boyce of Keyport, New Jersey, her beloved husband of 32 years, Stephen G. Kennedy of Middletown, New Jersey, her loving daughter, Kristine M. Kennedy of Jersey City, New Jersey, and her dear brother, Edward Boyce Jr. of Keansburg, New Jersey.  Debbi is also survived by her cherished God-child and niece, Amy Farley of Port Monmouth, New Jersey, her adored great nieces, Katelyn, Kacie, and Kendall, and her special cousins, Michael Boyce, and Shannon Boyce and her baby boy, Cameron Engstrom.  She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

       Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  In respect of Deborah's wishes, she will be privately cremated.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Catskills Animal Sanctuary, casanctuary.org, would be greatly appreciated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
