David Morris Zinneman

        David Morris Zinneman, 66, of Hazlet, New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.  He was born on June 4, 1949 in Manhattan, New York. David was raised in Sunnyside, Queens, New York, and then moved to Garfield, New Jersey.  On December 4, 1993, David married the love of his life, Lori Jean (DeGiorgio) Zinneman, and together they moved to Hazlet, New Jersey to raise their family.  Before retiring, David worked as a mailer for the New York Times in College Point, Queens, New York.  He was predeceased by his parents, David and Rosalie (Grant) Zinneman. David is survived by his beloved wife, Lori Jean (DeGiorgio) Zinneman, his loving children, Justin Paul Zinneman and his wife Rebecca of Keyport, New Jersey, David Grant Zinneman (Active U.S. Army stationed at Fort Bliss) of El Paso Texas, and his fiancee, Melanie McConnell of Union Beach, New Jersey, his dear siblings, Douglas Raymond Zinneman, Joseph Malcom Zinneman and his wife Linda, along with his cherished niece, Kathryn Rose Zinneman. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. 

        In respect of David's wishes, he will be privately cremated. Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM and 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of David to the Boy Scout Troop #364 in Keyport, New Jersey 07735, would be greatly appreciated.
