David B. Laska

    David B. Laska, 67, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday evening, June 29, 2017.  David was born on August 20, 1949 in Buffalo, New York, where he was raised.  He also attended Canisius College in Buffalo, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree.  On April 23, 1983, David and his wife, Christel, were married and began their life together in Keyport, New Jersey.  A year later in 1984, they settled in Hazlet, New Jersey.

    He was predeceased by his parents, Bronislaus and Frances (Kornik) Laska.  David is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 34 years, Christel Aussicker, his dear brother, Dale Laska and his wife, Patricia, of Farmington, New York, and his cherished nieces, Dawn and Holly Laska, along with many adored extended family members and friends.  David will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

    In respect of David's wishes, he will be privately cremated.  Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
