Daniel J. Cusick

Daniel J. Cusick, 82, of  Mays Landing, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at AtlantiCare  Regional Medical Center in Galloway, New Jersey.  Daniel was born on December 6, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York. He lived in Minnesota from 1976 to 1984 and in 2001 Daniel moved to Mays Landing, New Jersey. He worked as a Derrickman for Local 197 in New York City. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Mary (O'Boyle) Cusick , his brothers, Michael and John Cusick and his daughter-in law, Jean Cusick.  Daniel is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Catherine T. Cusick (Seery), his loving children, Michael Cusick of Minnetonka, MN., Kevin Cusick and his wife, Kelly of Woodbury, MN., Thomas Cusick and his wife, Becky of Virginia, MN., Theresa Smith and her husband, Kenny of Hazlet, New Jersey and Karen Burke and her husband, David of Keyport, New Jersey, his dear siblings, Robert Cusick, Pat Kelly, Madeline and Mike Fox and Donald and Pat Cusick, along with his cherished grandchildren, Brian Cusick, Kaitlin Smith, Patrick Cusick, Alex Cusick, Connor Cusick, Sean Cusick, Sylvia Cusick, Kenny Smith, James Smith, Molly Burke and Danny Burke. Daniel will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, January 12, 2017 from 4:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday morning, January 13, 2017 from 8:15 AM to 9:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Holy Family RC Church, 727 State/ Route 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735. In respect of Daniel's wishes, he will be privately cremated. For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
