Colleen M. Cafiero

     Colleen M. Cafiero, 67, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 26, 2017.  She was born Colleen McIntyre on October 7, 1949 in Jersey City, New Jersey, where she grew up.  On October 23, 1971, Colleen and her husband, Domenick, were married and began their life together in Jersey City.  In 1976, they settled in Union Beach, New Jersey to raise their family.  She was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Wanda (Logan) McIntyre and her dear sisters, Maureen Tauro and Marilyn Padgett.  Colleen is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Domenick Cafiero, her loving children, Tara Siegel and her husband, Joseph, of Cookstown, New Jersey, and Danielle Steele and her husband, Brian, of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, and her dear siblings, Adele Rivelli, and Denise Peragine and her husband, Joe.  She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Austin Steele, Evan Siegel, Aidan Steele, Alec Siegel, Hailey Steele, and Mackenzie Steele, along with many cherished extended family members and friends.  She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

     Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home on Tuesday during visitation hours.  In respect of Colleen's wishes, she will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
