Carmen Estrada

    Carmen Estrada, 82, of Keansburg, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.  Carmen was born on September 16, 1934 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, where she grew up.  In 1960 as a young woman, Carmen moved to Brooklyn, New York, where she raised her family.  In 1991, she settled in Keansburg, New Jersey.  She was predeceased by her parents, Jesus and Francisca (Rodriguez) Estrada.  Carmen is survived by her loving sons, Reynaldo Garcia and his significant other, Joanne Ramos, and Angel Rodriguez, her cherished grandchildren, Richard Peter Garcia and his wife, Melissa, Sean Garcia, Jennifer Elgolany, and Samantha Rodriguez, along with her adored great grandchildren, Isabella Garcia and Zachary Elgolany, and many special nieces and nephews.  She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

     Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  In respect of Carmen's wishes, she will be privately cremated.  Carmen's cremains will be interred in Puerto Rico at a later date.  For information, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
