Antoinette "Nettie" (Gehringer) Reno

        Antoinette Reno, "Nettie," 94, of Holmdel, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Bayside Manor in Holmdel.  She was born Antoinette Gehringer on August 29, 1922 in Newark, New Jersey, where she also grew up.  In 1954, Antoinette moved to Middletown, New Jersey with her husband, Mitchell P. Reno Sr.  In 1962, they relocated to Holmdel, New Jersey, and in 1981, settled in Toms River, New Jersey.  Before retiring, Antoinette worked as an operator at Bell Telephone Company in Red Bank, New Jersey.  

        She was predeceased by her parents, George and Anna (Goldfus) Gehringer, her beloved husband, Mitchell P. Reno Sr., and her daughters, Georgenne Jascott and Carolyn Weck Enman.  Antoinette is survived by her loving children, Mitchell P. Reno Jr. and his wife, Evelyn, of Rome, Pennsylvania, Elizabeth Lonardo and her husband, Rick, of Holmdel, New Jersey, along with 8 cherished grandchildren and 10 adored great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

        Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday morning, November 23, 2016 from 10:15 to 11:15 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. Interment will follow at 12:30 PM in the outdoor shelter, at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, New Jersey 08562.
