Anna Helen (Dattilo) Barone

    Anna Helen Barone, 80, of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Care One in Holmdel, New Jersey.  She was born Anna Helen Dattilo on December 21, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York, where she grew up.  After marriage, Anna moved to Greenville, New York, where she lived on her beloved family farm for many years.  In 1992, she relocated to New Jersey, settling in Marlboro.  While living in Marlboro, Anna worked for Marlboro Township as a secretary for the Municipal Utilities Authority.

    She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Anna (Trocchiano) Dattilo, her dear sister, Katherine Zambardi, her brothers-in-law, Louis Cook and John Zambardi, and her sister-in-law, Barbara Dattilo.  Anna is survived by her loving sisters, Marie Cook, and Louise Vuola and her husband, Richard, and her adoring brother, Anthony Dattilo, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.  She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

    Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM and Monday morning, August 7, 2017 from 9:15 to 10:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday morning, August 7, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  Interment will follow at approximately 1:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery, 500 25th Street, Brooklyn, New York 11232.  Memorial contributions in loving memory of Anna can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, or 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, and would be greatly appreciated.
